GIS : http://www.google.com/search?q=Jason+Hi ... =&c2coff=1What's your longest bike ride? It's a safe bet, it doesn't measure up to what Anchorage resident Jason Hill is about to attempt.
Jason Hill commutes to work on his bike - more than 20 miles a day.
Early next month, he'll fly to the north slope - to begin a trip that will connect 2 oceans - the long way.
As we found out, Jason's trip isn't just about the destination. In fact - he tells us, it's more about the journey. You see, he's about to put on his bicycle - and his bicycle seat - the mileage that some of us put on our cars. Within 2 years, he's hoping to log more than 16,000 miles. "I'm just really into bikes, it's exciting to think of what you can do if you really set your mind to it", Jason tells us from his West Anchorage home.
