That giant glacier there is the Columbia Glacier. Glacier Island, aka Growler Island, is a fantastic spot to kayak. The same with Heather Island.
Bligh Island is visable at the left edge of the picture. It was Bligh reef where the Exxon Valdez oil tanker spilled over 11 million gallons (257,000 barrels) of oil. You can find answers to common questions at the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council.
